Having grown up in Broome since the age of five, Yane was born in the tiny North West town of Dampier.

Experimenting with the art of photography in his teenage years and having worked in photo mini labs and camera stores. specialising in landscape and wedding photography.

Today Yane's amazing work can be seen in his new gallery which was opened by Ernie Dingo at Johnny Chi Lane in the heart of Broome's Chinatown.

All Yane's work is captured on a panoramic camera which uses film and can be produced as prints up to 5 metres in size on either canvas or traditional photographic paper.
