BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
Duties Include;
- Promotion of online reservation system/website
- Sales of advertising in BVC publications
- Promote membership of the organisation
- Maintain BVC & Broome Branding
- Compile market research to provide statistics
- Visitor Servicing & general office duties
Skills Required;
- Interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision
- Self starter using own initiative
- Knowledge of Broome & the Northwest preferable
PROMOTIONS OFFICER
The Broome Visitor Centre is looking for a professional and energetic person to join their team.
The successful applicant will have the following essential skills:
- High level of organisation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft programs
- Ability to co-ordinate the Broome Visitor Centre publications
- Potential to maintain and update Broome Visitor Centre web site
- Support on line and internal retail sales
- Promotion of local events and ticket sales
TOURISM OFFICER
Seeking 'Ambassadors of Broome' to be trained for the 2008 season. You need to be fun, a team player and passionate about Broome.
- Exceptional customer service
- Ability to learn on line reservation system
- Competent computer skills
- Knowledge of the North West region highly desirable
VOLUNTEERS
The Broome Visitor Centre is a not for profit organisation. We are seeking expressions of interest from community minded individuals that are interested in chatting to visitors in our foyer during the peak season. Part of the job will be to sample various tourist attractions in order to provide accurate information to visitors.
Duties will include:
- Providing customers with information about things to do, places to stay, suggested itineraries etc.
- Assist in maintaining stocks of all brochures displayed and updating notice boards.
- Assist in keeping the Broome Visitor Centre tidy at all times.
